2022 World Cup: Rohr opens up on Eagles’ plans for qualifiers

Super Eagles technical adviser Genort Rohr has disclosed plans for 2022 World Cup qualifiers kick-starting in March 2020.

Speaking on Lagos-based Brila FM, the Franco-German tactician revealed that some new players, who are currently excelling in their respective clubs will not be considered for selection, noting that the next FIFA window will be towards the World Cup qualifiers and it will not be conducive to try new players.

”The next FIFA window will be towards the world cup qualifiers so, it is not the moment to try new things or rather, new players we never saw before”, he said.

“We never know what will happen if one of the great players we have in England or in Germany can play for both countries would want to join us.

“We will see because I think before the next FIFA world cup qualifiers, we have a friendly and this is the last moment perhaps to test new players,” Rohr summed up.
