EPL top tacklers: Ndidi floors N’Golo Kante

The Nigeria international has racked up 129 tackles ahead of Everton’s defensive player, Idrissa Gueye who is second with 104 tackles according to the English Premier League (EPL) statistics.

Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is third with 60 tackles on the 20-man list announced on the football governing body’s website.

No Nigerian made the list, that has Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Allen and Dale Stevens occupying the fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

But despite coming tops, the Nigeria international was at the receiving end for players that have also been tackled severally this season.

Ndidi has been tackled 41 times, after 33 round of matches this season.

The Nigerian returns for Leicester’s game against Arsenal next weekend.
