The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is searching for a befitting apartment for Super Falcons head coach, Thomas Dennerby.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  is searching for a befitting apartment for Super Falcons head coach, Thomas Dennerby.

Dennerby, who joined the eight-time African champions on a two-year deal in January this year, is entitled to an official accommodation as contained in his contract.

SportingLife.ng gathered that the coach, who has since returned to Sweden after making a brief visit to the country last week, was at the NFF secretariat to meet with some of the federation’s chieftains.

“He was at the secretariat to submit his report to the FA on the international friendly match against France played over a week ago in France and also discuss his programme for the Africa Women’s Championship (AWC) qualifiers against Gambia in June,” said a source.

“I also understand that his accommodation was also discussed during the meeting so that whenever he arrives in Nigeria, that’s where he will reside. ,” our source further said.

Dennerby, whose contract requires that he spends as much time as possible with the team in Nigeria, was at last Wednesday’s Nigeria Women’s Professional League (NWFL) fixture between Confluence Queens and Bayelsa Queens in Lokoja.

Providing accommodation for head coaches of the national teams especially, the foreigners is seen as a priority by the NFF to save cost.

Last September, the NFF secured a three-bedroom apartment in Abuja for Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr.
