Nigeria/Congo DR Friendly: Rohr arrives, to inspect Adokiye Stadium

SportingLife.ng gathered that the coach who arrived the country on Monday night will be in Lagos before traveling to the Garden City on Thursday along with top NFF officials.

“From Portharcourt, he will travel to Abuja to discuss the friendly, the list of players to be invited and the logistics to be put in place for the game,” said our source.

The coach is expected to give a report on the state of the pitch of the Adokiye  Amiesemeika Stadium, to the NFF big guns at the meeting which is expected to be attended by the federation’s leadership and members of the technical committee.

Port Harcourt is reportedly being considered for the tie after the National Sports Commission (NSC) ran into trouble raising the N70m needed to fix the Abuja National Stadium which has been in a state of disrepair.
