The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has started crediting the bank accounts of the Super Falcons who were in France for the April 6 international friendly against the country’s senior women’s team at Le Mans.

It was gathered that each player will get over N350,000 if not more, as their share from the 40,000 euros paid to the NFF by the France Football Federation.  The NFF would have disbursed close to N6.3m for the 18 players invited for the friendly.

The money is for the players appearance fees.

A top official at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed that the players were paid in Naira after they were asked to submit their Nigeria accounts on Monday.

“We decided not to pay them again in dollars because of bank charges. So we had to reach out to the players on Monday informing them to submit their Nigeria account details, which they agreed too. And as l speak to you the federation has started crediting their accounts,” the official explained.

“I am very sure that if you contact some of the players they would confirm what l have just told you,”” the official said.

The players were  paid $100 each in France.
