WWE Stars: Wrestling is life

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars have said that Wrestling has become their lives and are hoping to get the best out of their chosen profession.

Speaking at a press conference put together by Multichoice in MonteCasino, Fourways, Sandton, they stated that professional wrestling has given them the opportunity to showcase their skills and move up in their chosen career.

Drew Gulak noted that they are trained to take the pains associated with the sport and said that the fights are scripted though some wrestlers lose their tempers and get really violent once in a while.

He stated that he was inspired by the likes of Hulk Hogan and Undertaker despite being terrified watching them fight as a  youngsters.

The only lady in the group, Bayley said she knew she would end up as a wrestler when she was 13. She said she has had memorable fights but a main target is to become a leading act in future WWE fights.

According to her, getting hurt does not scare her as her body is conditioned for the job. She said she was happy to be back
after injuring her shoulder last year assuring her teeming fans she is not ready to quit.

Braun Strowman described his recruitment by WWE in 2012 has one of the biggest occurrences in his life and the other one is fighting his hero, the Ultimate Warrior in Mexico a few years back.

Strowman who is known as the monster among men said he has found a house in WWE. The former Strongman competitor also said WWE has given him the opportunity to see the world and noted that he has been fortunate to get to the top despite debuting six years ago.

He also described himself as a caveman who throws his opponents around in the ring to submission noting “WWE gave me an avenue to do wrestling instead off lumbering around. Right now, I am an intelligent giant.”

For Samoa Joe, no need worrying about the seeming violence associated with the sports as a disclaimer is put up before every fight.

He said today’s kids know the difference between make belief and reality. He also stated that the training they undergo prepares them for the rigors of the job.

Samoa said that the greatest danger is that the wrestlers put themselves through a lot of punishment but keeping their fans and family happy been a source of encouragement for them.
