Victor Osimhen reacts to Napoli return after injury setback

Recuperating Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has reacted to his possible return from injury for Napoli against Bologna today in a Serie A clash.

The forward, who has been out injured since November, posted a photo of himself wearing his protective mask accompanied by two emojis of an hour glass and the face of a lion on Twitter to suggest the warrior king will soon be unleashed once again.

Interestingly, in Osimhen’s absence, Napoli’s title challenge has faltered as they have now slipped to third place on the Serie A log.

Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has admitted the Serie A side have missed the goals and overall play of the Super Eagles star forward.

At the last count, Osimhen netter five goals in the Italian topflight before he was injured.

Fans of the Eagles will be delighted as the forward despite missing the ongoing AFCON 2021, will now be available for selection for the 2022 World Cup final playoffs in March.
