Barcelona will intensify on their transfer plans, says Xavi
Barcelona coach Xavi has said their market plans will intensify this week.
Xavi is expecting a busy summer, despite Financial Fair Play concerns.
He said, “This week is definitive to know the scenario of what we can do (in the transfer market). We have to be fair and honest. We must reinforce well, especially (to compete at) European level. We have competed well in the domestic competitions, but the definitive step is to strengthen to fight for everything.

“Everything will depend on the scenario we are in. This week will be definitive for signings. We will try to make moves. It’s a key week to know if we can strengthen.
“We have had a great season, I gave them a grade of B. We are also aware that we have to strengthen for what is required at Barça — all the titles and to do better in Europe.
