Awaziem sustained an ankle injury during a training match on Saturday while playing for Team Bib.

The player who was on the pitch briefly collided with a teammate and was replaced by William Troost-Ekong.

He was seen limping back to the bus after training.

A source told SportingLife.ng that the Eagles doctor confirmed that Awaziem will be okay in the coming days but was doubtful against DR Congo

Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon are the other players that are out of the friendly.
