2022 WORLD CUP:: Qatar FA dangles £44m- a- year to Zidane

Former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane may not be out of work for too long after his shock resignation.

Reports from Qatar indicate that ZIDANE has been lined up to handle the country’s national team and would earn £44million per year.

The Frenchman was widely expected to take a sabbatical, like Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique but with such an offer coming from the oil-rich nation, it is unlikely if Zizzou would turn it down.  According to the breakdown, Zidane will pocket £120,000 per day for four years and will £176m richer by 2022.

That is the figure reported by influential Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris, who took to Twitter to suggest the offer on the table. Qatar will host the World Cup in 2022 and therefore receive automatic qualification.

It will be the first time the nation – ranked 101st in the world – have appeared at the tournament.

And it is believed a four-year contract would be offered to Zidane to lead the Middle Eastern country at the World Cup according to — Naguib Sawiris (@NaguibSawiris).

Zidane will no doubt be in high demand and was also tipped to take over at Chelsea with Antonio Conte’s future in serious doubt.
