Falcons lose second friendly 3-1
Nigeria’s Super Falcons on Friday lost 3-1 to Asec Mimosas U-16 boys in a friendly played Sol Beni Stadium in Abidjan. The team had the full complement of their players.
It was the second loss for the Falcons who are on 8-day training tour in Cote D’Ívoire ahead of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The Super Falcons had lost 3-2 in the first friendly match against Dominion Hotspur at the Atlantic Hall pitch, Epe during their two-week long camping in Lagos.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group B and tackle South Africa in their first game on November 18 before facing Zambia and Equatorial Guinea.

Nigeria are the defending champions after beating Cameroon by a lone goal two years ago.
