Kotoko reveal danger men ahead CAF Champions League clash against Pillars

Kano Pillars have been urged to be wary of Asante Kotoko’s Augustine Sefa, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Naby Keita when they face the Ghanaian side on Saturday in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF
Champions League. Kotoko who were finalists in the lucrative club competition in 2000 will trade tackles with Sai Masu Gida at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano in the first leg and a top Ghanaian journalist who likes to remain anonymous has told SportingLife.ng that,
The three players and their goalkeeper, Felix Annan who recently received a call up into the Black
Stars of Ghana are integral to anything positive Kotoko will do over the weekend.
He said that the four players were exceptional during a recently organized competition by the Ghana’s Normalisation Committee which was aimed at discovering new talent for the various national teams.
The source told SportingLife.ng: “Felix Annan who is the team’s new captain is a good goalkeeper. He helped the team a lot last season in the CAF Confederation Cup and his saves will be crucial again on
Saturday in Kano.
“His performance in that competition earned him a call up to the Black Stars preparatory to the 2019 AFCON. Augustine Sefa, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Naby Keita are some of the players Kotoko are relying on to deny
Pillars a good result in Kano.
“They also have some new players that are also very good. If they are able to blend on time with the rest of their squad, Pillars won’t have it easy at all.”
