NIGERIA/BRAZIL: Dare to parley Eagles in Singapore
Minister of Youth and Sports Development Sunday Dare has described the forthcoming international friendly match between Nigeria and Brazil as a fight between pride and honour which Nigeria must approach with all seriousness .
Speaking in Abuja, Dare said though the match is friendly in nature should be used to expose our boys strengths and weaknesses for better outing in a competitive matches in future.
He opined that any match played by the super eagles should be given adequate attention by the technical crew led by Gernot Rohr especially grade A international friendly matches like Brazil to improve on our ranking by the world football governing body (Fifa).
“I look forward to a very entertaining and interesting match. Brazil we all know is among the top five best footballing nations in the world and Nigeria is known in Africa. The super eagles have ego to play even though is a friendly game. Brazil and Nigeria will be world attraction because the two nations are good in the round leather game with arrays of professional players plying their trade outside their domestic leagues”. Minister said.
The Minister who refused to predict the outcome of the match believed that the super eagles with talents and exposure will give Brazil a run for their money.

He also expressed desire to be in Singapore on October 13th, the venue of the international friendly as a guest which would afford him the opportunity to meet and interact with the senior national team players for the first time since he assumed office.
