Sunday Mba searches for club after two years of inactive football
Nigeria international, Sunday Mba says he has not given up getting a new club despite not having to play competitive football in the last two years.
Mba last played a competitive match in 2017 for Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor against Sivasspor.
While with Malatyaspor he netted eight goals in 55 appearances.
”My desire is to get back into club football and I am working hard to start playing again.”As a free agent things are not really that easy, but you can only be hopeful,” he told BBC Sport.
”Football is everything I have and I cannot just give up. I believe there’s something out there for me.”
”First you’d need the luck to find someone that believes in you and ready to give you a chance,” he said.
”I’ve continued to stay in shape, train daily and be physically ready for any opportunity.
He was one of Nigeria’s promising talents from the domestic league after his heroics at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where he scored the winning goal in the final against Burkina Faso.

But faded out of the spotlight after he was dropped from the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
