Leicester to offer Soyuncu new contract
Leicester City are pushing to secure Caglar Soyuncu to a new contract.
Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira reports Leicester are preparing to offer new terms to the Turkey defender
Schira revealed, “Leicester wants to extend Caglar Söyüncü’s contract (expires in 2023) in the coming weeks.
“Talks will be opened to reach an agreement, because many clubs are looking the Turkish centre back.”
Soyuncu remains highly rated by Leicester, despite him losing his first-choice status this season.
Meanwhile the club continues to reap bountifully from the triumphant return of Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi to full fitness. Ndidi was voted man of the match in the 3-1 defeat of Liverpool
The defensive midfielder, who made his comeback game after a hamstring injury last month, was outstanding as ‘The Foxes’ climbed to second spot in the Premier League.

Ndidi made more recoveries (11) and won more aerial duels (5) in the first half of the game.
He also provided the well-crafted assist for Leicester City third goal in the 85th minute.
An elated Rodgers is hoping that his man remains in top shape ahead of forthcoming clashes including the Europa clash against SK Slavia Praha.
