Abdullahi joins Bulgarian side, Lokomotiv Plovdiv

Bulgarian club, PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv have announced the signing of Nigerian defender Mustapha Abdullahi on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2020.

The 22-year-old began the season with Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Wikki Tourist and his outstanding performances with the Bauchi based team earned him a move to Bulgaria.

Speaking after signing the deal, the former U-17 World Cup winner said “I am grateful to God for this move and I pray to do great things with Lokomotiv Plovdiv.”

Abdullahi joins CHAN Eagles star, Stephen Eze who recently signed for the Bulgarian club and Musa Mohammed who he played with at U17 and U20 levels.

Mustapha could be in the starting lineup this weekend as his team will be resuming hostilities in the Bulgarian First League.
