AC Milan plot surprise move for Jerome Akor

Nigeria’s Jerome Akor is attracting interest from Serie A giants AC Milan according to reports coming out of Italy.

Akor has hit the ground running at Ligue 1 club, Montpellier following his summer arrival from Lillestrom.

Montpellier splashed out €4.5m to secure his services from the Norwegian club.

The 23-year-old has netted seven goals in 11 league appearances for La Paillade this campaign.

The former Flying Eagles star scored 13 times in 13 appearances for Lillestrom before making the switch to Ligue 1.

According to transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan are targeting Akor as a replacement for Olivier Giroud.

The Rooseneri are expected to face stiff competition from other European clubs for the Nigerian forward.
