AFCON: Super Eagles resume training ahead Cameroon clash

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will resume training this Wednesday ahead of their Round of 16clash against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions after observing Tuesday as rest day.

Latest reports coming out of the camp, Super Eagles media officer, Babafemi Raji, revealed that Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be held behind closed doors.

Intrestingly, Friday’s session will however, be thrown open to the media for the first 15 minutes.

The three-time African champions have been training at the Police College, Cocody, since their arrival in Abidjan for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria will tackle on Cameroon at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, on Saturday, January 27.

The match is slated to kick-off at 9:00pm Nigeria time.
