AFCONQ2023: Super Eagles ready for Sierra Leone clash, says Omeruo
Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo says the team will approach the game against Sierra Leone with all seriousness.
Nigeria slipped to second spot on the table after Guinea Bissau defeated Sao Tome and Principe on Wednesday.
However, a win over the Leone Stars at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, on Sunday will not only return the team to the top of the table, but also guarantee a place in the tournament proper.

“We are approaching the game with all seriousness. We know how important it is for us to qualify and better to do it with a game to spare, so that we can relax and plan for the future,” the centre-back told reporters.
“Everyone knows what we have to do. We are here to train and to make sure we go there to win.”
