Africa Games: Aigbogun banks on Makanjuola, Chinoso for final ticket

Flying Eagles head coach Paul Aigbogun has expressed confidence that his wards will go pass their West Africa brothers Mali in the semi-final male football event match at the ongoing 12th All Africa Games in Morocco having eliminated the host in the last group game.

Aigbogun in a chat with Sportinglfe.ng, said the current form of Success Makanjuola and Emeka Chinoso, the Malians will find it difficult to crack our team.

He said, the Mali U20 is very good side having topped their group but with the duo of Makanjuola and
Chinoso the team will play at the final of the male football event.

” I have absolute confidence in my boys especially Makanjuola and Chinosowho scored the equalizer against the host that gave us semi-final ticket. I have actually monitored the Malian and I have known their strengths and weaknesses,” said Aigbogun.

Nigeria’s U20 will lock on with Mali junior national team on Tuesday in one of the semi-final tickets. A win for the Flying Eagles will ensure that Nigeria wins either gold or silver medal.
