Aguero, De Bruyne to return against Everton–Guardiola

Manchester City Manager, Pep Guardiola could field the duo of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne  in today’s premier league clash against Everton at the Etihad.

Giving an update on both players who have been out due to injuries, Guardiola said they were part of Friday’s final training.

“[Aguero] did the last training session with the team. He has no pain in his injury so afterwards we are going to decide,” said the City Manager.

On De Bruyne, Guardiola added: “The same as Sergio, he trained quite well, no pain. We’ll see.”“No, we are not going to sign anyone”

City’s record scorer Aguero has missed the last four games with a groin injury while playmaker De Bruyne has been troubled by knee injuries all season.

The champions lost their first Premier League game of the season at Chelsea last weekend.

The pair’s return would ease Guardiola’s lengthy injury list with City having just 15 senior fit players for the Champions League win over Hoffenheim in midweek.
