Ahmed Musa, Ighalo Nigeria’s biggest earners on $7 million a year
The duo of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo are currently the highest-earning Nigeria football stars – both pocket about $7 million or 2.5 billion Naira a year each.
Both players have now invested heavily in real estate as a result of their fortunes.
Last season, Musa helped Al Nassr to win the league championship after netting seven goals in 24 appearances.
However, injury has slowed down the Nigeria star this season as he has yet to score in two league games.
Ighalo, on the other hand, has bagged a long-term contract at Shanghai Shenhua after his record-breaking goals tally last season.
