Aina ready to fight for shirt after returning from injury

Nigeria defender, Ola Aina is ready to fight his way back into the Torino squad ahead of the side’s Seria A fixture against Genoa on Sunday after recovering from injury.

Aina suffered a retrocalcaneal inflammation to the right foot with the Super Eagles prior to the its Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and the international friendly against Uganda.

This made Aina who has made 11 appearances for the Maroon’s this season miss Monday’s clash against Calgliari Calcio.

Torino reports through its official website that the Super Eagles left back had a light training held at the club’s ground, Stadio Olimpico Grande on Wednesday.
