Al Ettifaq’s bid for Gray rejected by Everton

Al Ettifaq have had a bid rejected for Everton winger Demarai Gray.

Gray failed to secure a move away from Everton in the transfer window before the English transfer window closed.

Exclusive: Demarai Gray’s statement was a direct reaction to Everton last night informing Al-Ettifaq they do NOT want to sell him.

But the Saudi club, managed by Steven Gerrard, have until September 7 to make signings.

Gray is expected to stay at Everton, who view him as an important part of the squad.

The forward has not played in any of Everton’s first five games this season.
