Alaba stalls Bayern Munich contract talks

Barcelona are closely watching David Alaba’s situation at Bayern Munich.

Alaba’s contract runs to 2021 and it seems that he has no interest in negotiating a renewal with the leaders of Bayern Munich, says BILD.

Last summer, Barcelona had already asked Bayern about a possible deal for Alaba, as they sought a left back to provide competition for Jordi Alba. Eventually, Junior Firpo was chosen.

However, Alaba has remained on the agenda of Barcelona and it has not been ruled out their interest can be revived.
