Another Messi in the making signs for Liverpool at six

Six year old wonderkid Arat Hosseini dubbed “Little Messi” has signed for Liverpool Academy to begin what some have predicted will snowball into a wonderful career.

Hosseini boasts of ability to tickle with the ball and is being tipped to become a superstar even as he already has 6.8m social media fans.

On moving to Merseyside from Iran last year, his dad Erfan, 45, wasted no time in signing Arat up to the Liverpool FC academy.

Erfan said: “No-one is like Arat – he is a special gift from God.

“I’m so proud of him because he is a little boy who is going to be the pride of the Iranian people.”

The family has cleared their living room so Arat can train for up to three hours a day.

“I want to be the best football player in the world, even better than Messi and Ronaldo. I want to beat all of their records,”he says

It is not just Arat’s quick feet and eye for goal which has turned him into one of the sport’s hottest young properties – he has astonishing abdominal muscles too.

His six-pack has sparked an online backlash. But Erfan said: “We just listen to positive things to reach our goal.”

Arat recently hit the headlines as he completed a mammoth 3,000 kick-ups.

Should the youngster reach anywhere near the heights of that which Messi has, then he will be a success,  though the Barcelona star struggled on Friday as the Catalan giants were thrashed 8-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
