Chelsea have experienced a wonderful night at FIFA’s The Best awards.
Blues manager Thomas Tuchel took out Manager of the Year award after the club’s triumph over Manchester City in the Champions League.
Upon accepting the award, Tuchel said: “I enjoy the journey and I enjoy the club. At the moment, this is a good fit.

“The company on the journey is so, so good. I’m grateful to have such support around me and to feel so good in such a competitive club.
“We’ve lost a bit of ground to Manchester City in the league but in any other competitions, we still follow our goals.”
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy was also named as the best goalkeeper of 2021 by FIFA.
It was just rewards for Mendy after he was snubbed for the Ballon D’Or shortlist late last year.
N’Golo Kante and Jorginho were also named in the FIFPRO World XI.
