ARSENAL FANS: Iwobi is OUTRAGEOUS

Arsenal FC of London’s fans stormed the social media on Tuesday night to shower praises on Nigeria international Alex Iwobi over his remarkable performance in the country’s two matches against Libya in Uyo and Sfax in Tunisia.

Iwobi sent Gunners fans into a frenzy on social media after pulling off a stunning pass for Nigeria on Tuesday night. Young Gunner Iwobi has been in impressive form for Arsenal since the arrival of new manager Unai Emery.

The 22-year-old has secured a regular starting spot under the Spaniard and has proved to be one of the club’s main attacking threats. And Iwobi continued his strong performances during the international break this week.

During Nigeria’s African Cup of Nations match against Libya, Iwobi unleashed a stunning pass for Odion Ighalo’s opening goal.

Iwobi was seen picking the ball up on the edge of the box before finding a tiny gap in Libya’s defence.
The Arsenal ace slots in a pin-point accurate pass to Ighalo who duly fired home. And the Emirates faithful were quick to take to social media to hail their star man’s performance.

“That pin point pass from @alexiwobi @Arsenal, what a baller,” one fan wrote.
Another lauded: “OH ALEX IWOBI !! That pass was so good! I don’t wanna hear ‘he can’t play at 10’. That Alex Iwobi pass was fire,” a third fan commented.

A fourth fan wrote: “Alex Iwobi’s passes are very good.”

With international duty done and dusted, many of Arsenal’s players are returning to their London Colney training ground to prepare for their upcoming Premier League fixture against Leicester City.

The Gunners host the Foxes at the Emirates on Monday night as Emery’s side look to continue their nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
