Arsenal work on Zinchenko medical after agreeing contract
Arsenal are working out the logistics of Oleksandr Zinchenko’s possible medical after agreeing a £32million fee with Manchester City for the Ukraine international.
The Gunners are set to pay an initial £30m for Zinchenko, with a further £2m in add-ons.
The deal still needs to be finalised but Zinchenko has provisionally agreed personal terms on a four-year contract at Emirates Stadium.
No issues or problems despite some rumours. Oleksandr Zinchenko joins Arsenal, he left Man City’s camp as expected and will join AFC squad in the next hours to sign the contract. ⚪️🔴🛩 #AFC

Arsenal are putting early plans in place should they get the green light for the 25-year-old to undergo a medical and complete his move.
The Gunners are currently on tour in the United States, and ordinarily prospective new signings would undergo medical checks in the UK before flying out to join the squad.
But City are also in America and there is scope for Zinchenko to do his medical there instead.
The signing of Zinchenko would be a major boost for Arsenal, who want to strengthen their squad at left-back and in midfield.
He will provide competition for both areas and also brings a wealth of experience.
Arteta knows him well from their time together at Manchester City and their relationship has helped talks move swiftly.
The arrival of Zinchenko will take Arsenal’s summer spending beyond £100m.

They are keen to shift players in the final six weeks of the window and Fulham are still pushing to sign goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who is valued at around £10m.
Midfielder Lucas Torreira is another player set to depart and Valencia are the latest club to enquire about him. The Uruguayan has one year left on his current contract and is ready to leave Arsenal.
Arsenal are also looking at loan deals for young players, with Folarin Balogun attracting interest from Championship clubs.
