Manchester City extended their winning run to 18 games with a 1-0 victory over Arsenal.
The Sky Blues are marching towards the Premier League title, boasting a ten-point lead with 13 games remaining.
Pep Guardiola’s side have not dropped a point since December 15, a run which was helped by a goal from Raheem Sterling within two minutes of play at the Emirates.
Rob Holding must have been half asleep as he allowed the diminutive winger to out-jump him and head Riyad Mahrez’s cross past Bernd Leno from six yards out.
To Arsenal’s credit, they did not capitulate after going behind, fighting back with efforts from Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka.

But as it has done during this incredible run of wins, City’s defence held up strong despite the team lacking its usual attacking potency.
The Gunners remain in 10th on the table after the defeat, six points off the top-six.
And Mikel Arteta was left to lament Arsenal’s early mistake when speaking after the game.
“We got something wrong,” the Spaniard told Sky Sports. “We didn’t do it in the first 10 minutes. It’s a cross and Raheem Sterling cannot head a ball there. You cannot concede that goal. It was a tactical thing that we were prepared for but we didn’t read it in the game.
“When we conceded the first goal it put us in a difficult situation. It was tough.
“With the formation and the players they use they are really comfortable. After that the team reacted really well, were on top of the game and created chances but we lacked the quality in those situations to score the goal.
“We got momentum and confidence and were really good on the ball as well. We found good spaces but when we were in the final third we didn’t pick the right pass to score a goal. We tried to use some weaknesses that we thought we could exploit. They don’t have many. How they compete when they have in the last few minutes, they are a top side.”
