Arteta: We deserve chance to be there on final day
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, still believes they can secure European football for next season.
The Gunners picked up a win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday, moving into 9th spot in the league.
Depending on results in other games, Arsenal could sneak into 7th spot and claim a Europa Conference League spot.
Arteta said at full time: “We found a way to win. For a big part of the game we were in total control and playing the way we wanted to play.

“Once we conceded we lost control and started to give balls away and started to panic.
“We allowed them to play long balls, corners, free-kicks and against Palace that’s a dangerous game. We were in trouble.
“We improved with our chances and Gabby [Martinelli] managed to score a very important goal.
“We will keep fighting right up to the last day, if someone said in November or December [a European finish] it looked impossible but we’ve been on a strong run these past six months and we deserve a chance to be there on the final day.”
