Aubameyang declares Barcelona ‘my home’

Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had a swipe at Arsenal following his move last month.

The striker signed a three-and-a-half year deal at the Nou Camp on February 2, having left the Gunners by mutual consent the day before.

“Things are going very well with Xavi,” Aubameyang told Bein Sports France. “He is a legend and will contribute many things to the club.

“Barca deserves to be in front and I am very happy there because I am at home. I’m Spanish for my mother’s sake.

“My grandfather was from Atletico and I just hope that wherever he is, he will be proud of me for playing in the league.

“The league is a good competition for me because it allows me to utilise my qualities.

“When you enter Camp Nou it’s something! Another dimension. I really enjoy it.”
