Sportinglife.ng can authoritatively report that the duo of Sweden based Super Falcons players Ohale Osinachi and Rita Chikwelu will not be available for the Africa Women Cup of Nations first leg qualifier against Gambia due to club engagement.

The first leg comes up on June 5 at the Baku Independence Stadium.
According to our source, the two players had initially opted out of the qualifier but head coach Thomas Dennerby insisted on having the players for the return leg in Calabar on June 11.
The other invited foriegn based players have been directed to report to camp on May 29th. The players
are Chikwunoye Josephine, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Desire Oparanozie, Francisca Ordega, Onome Ebi,
Faith Ikidi and Halimat Ayinde.
Meanwhile, the home based players invited ahead of the qualifier are currently in camp perfecting
strategies for the encounter under the supervision of Dennerby.
