Lionel Messi was left behind by the team bus of Barcelona following their 4-0 semi-final defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night in the return leg of the Champions League.
The bus which was heading back to the airport forgot the Argentina international who had to undergo a dope test after the final whistle right inside the stadium.
He however joined his teammates at the airport before their departure.
The defeat ended a miserable night for Barca after going into the game with a 3-0 advantage from the Nou camp last Wednesday.
Needing at least 3 goals, Liverpool slashed through Barcelona to complete an historic comeback at Anfield without their talisman Mohammed Salah who was injured.
Barca have already wrapped up the Spanish Liga title go into history as the first team to surrender a 3- goal advantage in a #UCL knockout tie twice.

However they can take a solace in the fact that a second consecutive domestic looks possible as as they face Valencia in the Copa del Rey on May 25.
