Barcelona to open contract talks with Lionel Messi, Marc-Ander ter Stegen

Barcelona are reportedly preparing to offer new contracts to Lionel Messi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The forward and goalkeeper are each regarded as key players at Camp Nou, with Messi officially tied to the Catalan giants until 2021 and Ter Stegen holding a deal for a further year.

While there is little danger of either player leaving the club in the near future, reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona are ready to strengthen their position.
