Barcelona will demand double figures from Griezmann after COVID-19
Barcelona will demand double from their players as soon as football returns, but a bit more from Antonie Griezmann. The club want him to have more bite upfront and the board expect a lot from the Frenchman.
Such has been Griezmann’s season that rumours have placed him outside Barcelona to try and bring back Neymar. A hypothesis that is not going to be fulfilled in the next months.
Barcelona have placed Griezmann as one of the untouchables.and they have good reason to do so, although they need money in their accounts after the crisis.
‘Sport’ already assured that he will not leave for the 120 million euros that the club signed him for and because they believe there is much room for improvement with the current season’s data on the table.
The Barca board will ask for much more from Griezmann as soon as football resumes because at the highest levels of the club a lot is expected form the ex-Atlético player, especially with regards to scoring and in the final third.
Griezmann’s numbers have gone from being better in defence than in attack, sinning from what Diego Simeone once taught him. But no, Barca want him to make a change and be a player with more bite.

If this season is played, Griezmann would be under the magnifying glass because of the injuries to Suárez and Dembélé, but the one that will really be important is the following. Until the break, the world champion played 27 matches, scoring 14 goals and getting 4 assists. They want Griezmann to be more of a poacher.
