Bartomeu made contact with several Barcelona players after resigning

Former Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, made contact with several players after resigning this week.

Bartomeu sent a few last Whatsapps to the squad. Pedri Gonzalez was one who received an unexpected message. Bartomeu asked for Pedri’s number to send him a message.

Less than a week ago, Bartomeu sent Pedri a message to congratulate him for his fine start to the season, giving him a ‘well done’ for his debut in the Champions League against Ferencvaros, where he scored.

Bartomeu also encouraged him to keep working to achieve success, words that the midfielder was grateful for, reports Sport.
