Bayern Munich to return for Sane in January
Bayern Munich would make another bid for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane at the start of 2020.
The German was a target of the league champions throughout the summer but backed out when he suffered a serious knee injury in August.
According to The Sun, the Bundesliga champions could make a formal approach during the January window as they continue their search for a long-term replacement for Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
City may receive £135m, despite Sane having less than two years left on his contract.
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has recently hinted that Sane’s wage demands could prove to be a problem for Bayern.
