Beckham nets £10million mortgage for lavish Miami penthouse.

David Beckham has reportedly netted a £10million mortgage for a lavish Miami penthouse.

It is claimed the former footballer, 48, will have to pay back more than £40,000 per month, with the repayment being bumped up to nearly £48,000 to include taxes.

The sportsman, who is married to fashion designer Victoria Beckham, is said to have bought the £17.15million pad way up on the 59th floor of One Thousand Museum, which at 62 storeys and a height of 215m is one of the tallest buildings in the Floridian city.

Former England player brought property through his firm Beckham Brand Ltd three years ago when he was setting up his Inter Miami football club, according to The Sun.

It features Miami’s first private helipad, five bedrooms, ceiling-to-floor windows and spacious balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Residents are able to use the two-storey gym, spa, infinity pool, and the hair and beauty services.

The residence, which is now said to be worth £22.6million, is part of David and former Spice Girl Victoria’s £70million worldwide property portfolio.

It comes after David visited the Macau hotel rooms he designed for the first time and documented the visit in a host of Instagram posts.

It was revealed in January last year, it was revealed that David was raking in cash by choosing furniture, linens and art for suites in a £580-per-night hotel in China’s Las Vegas after another big money deal in his friend President Xi’s Communist state.

The football ace, 47, worth an estimated £380million ($518million), has co-designed 14 rooms at The Londoner in Macau where guests who fancy sleeping with the star for the night can do so  because his picture is on the wall next to the beds.
