Banyana Banyana suffered 0-3 defeat to Brazil during a friendly international played at the Orlando Stadium on Friday night.
First-half goals from Geyse in the 40th minute and Adriana just before the half-time break got the ball rolling for the South Americans. Tamires increased the lead for the visitors when she placed the ball into an empty net in the 64th minute.

To their credit, the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana never dropped their heads and continued to look for the goal that would have made the vociferous crowd at Orlando Stadium happy.
The two sides will resume the action when they meet in the second match at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Monday, 5 September.
