Watford sacked Francisco Javier Munoz after collecting just seven points in the opening seven Premier League games of the season.

Ranieri, 69, parted ways with Sampdoria in the summer.

The Blucerchiati finished 9th in Serie A last term, collecting 52 points.

Ranieri would return to the Premier League for the first time since 2019. Back then, he was sacked by the Cottagers, who hired Scott Parker to replace him.

Ranieri has won 107 of his 225 games in the Premier League, where he’s averaged 1,68 point per game.
