Bulgarian runner adopts strange approach to addiction war

 

Fighting addiction is not just about talking and preaching but taking the bull by the horns. That, is the believe of Bulgarian runner and Philantropist  Kras Georgiev.

Seeking to help young people fight addiction, Kras Georgiev has taken on a strange challenge, where he will live inside a glass box for 15 days in a park located in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. The runner will not be able to use a phone, computer or any electronic device other than his treadmill.

Through this challenge, the Bulgarian athlete wants to raise money to help young people fight addiction.

Georgiev runs on a treadmill inside his glass cage, while passers-by watch and cheer.

Georgiev is an ambassador for philanthropy and has run nearly 30 marathons around the world as well as a 217km race in Death Valley, California. The challenge is certainly not easy as many cannot even imagine staying away from their mobile phones for 24 hours.
