CAF confirms AFCON qualifiers for Nigeria’s duel against Benin, Lesotho
Confederation of Africa Football has confirmed the dates for the AFCON qualifiers involving Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Lesotho.
The three-time African champions play their last two matches in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers later this month.

Date: Saturday 27th March

Nigeria’s final 2021 AFCON qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho will take place on March 27th and March 30th respectively.

The Super Eagles take on the Squirrels of Benin in Port Novo on the 27th of March, with kick-off time set for 5 pm Nigerian time.
Gernot Rohr’s men then host Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium three days later, with kick-off also slated for 5 pm.
Nigeria have eight points from their first four games in group L and need just a point from their last two games to seal qualification.
The Super Eagles were disappointing last time out, blowing a four-goal lead in the first leg of their clash against Sierra Leone before playing out a goalless draw in the second leg.
However, they will be eager to get back on the positive side of the fans when later this month. Rohr is expected to name the squad for the two games later this week.
