CAF drags World’s sports lawyers to Cairo

...To make positive impact on football law

To share ideas and make positive impact on football law, Confederation of Africa Football, (CAF), has dragged Sports Lawyers to its headquarters in Cairo.

Respected Sports lawyers made valuable contributions in the two-day event of  the 7th Annual Congress of the International Association of Football Lawyers (AIAF).

Speaking at the event, CAF Deputy Secretary General (DSG) Anthony Baffoe, said he was excited that the deliberations of the lawyers touched vital issues of football development across the world.

“CAF is very proud to be part of this event that brings so many great sports legal experts to our continent. I hope that through exchanging opinions and ideas, we can make a positive impact on football law.” Baffoe said.

This is the first time that the AIAF Congress has been held in Africa. Its agenda will focus on subjects including: FIFA regulations on transfers and agents and broadcasting rights in football.

Other speakers from CAF who will address the Congress are:
Mostafa Abdullah (Chief Compliance Officer), Achta Mahamat Saleh (Director of Legal Affairs) and Abdul Bah (Director of Marketing and TV).
