CAFCC: Enoh hails Rivers United’s progression

Nigeria’s Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, hailed Rivers United, Nigeria’s representative at the CAF Confederations Cup, for securing a quarterfinal berth after a 2-1 victory against Dreams FC of Ghana.

The Minister described the team’s qualification as a moment of pride for the entire nation. He said the achievement was not only a triumph for Rivers but also victory for all Nigerian football enthusiasts.

Enoh commended the team for their resilience and determination, urging them to maintain focus and approach the upcoming quarterfinal encounter with confidence and resolve.

With the team’s qualification, Nigeria has also secured four slots on the continent for the upcoming season.
