CAFCC: Miracle in Aba as Enyimba reach quarter-finals with late goal

Two-time African champions Enyimba needed a miracle on Wednesday night to reach the quarter=finals of the CAF Confederation Cup after netting a last minute goal against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.

The Aba giants had to wait until the 95th minute when Cyril Olisemah struck from close range from a cross provided by Anayo Iwuala.

With this result, Enyimba claimed top spot in the difficult group with nine points, qualifying alongside Pirates who also ended the group phrase with nine points.
