Cameroon lucky to go down by a lone goal against Switzerland – Okocha
Former Super Eagles midfielder Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has reacted to Cameroon’s defeat to Switzerlandin Group G encounter of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on Thursday.
The former African champions lost to the Swiss 1-0, courtesy of goal from Cameroon born Breel Embolo in the second half.

Manuel Akanji, missed a golden opportunity to double Switzerland’s lead, and while reviewing the game, but Okocha believe the Rigobert Song’s side gave Switzerland freedom to do what they wanted, adding that they were lucky not to have lost by more goals.

Interestingly, Cameroon is yet to win a world cup game over a decade now, they will aiming to break the curse when face Serbia at the Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah.
