Champions League – Real Madrid’s reign ends as Ajax win 4-1, Spurs into quarters

Ajax have pulled off a famous Champions League victory against Real Madrid by knocking the three-time defending champions out of the competition at the round of 16 stage courtesy of a 4-1 thumping at the Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur also sealed progression to the last eight by beating Borussia Dortmund 1-0 (4-0 on aggregate) courtesy of Harry Kane’s 48th minute strike.

The Premier League side Tottenham will join Ajax in the quarters after their impressive 4-0 aggregate victory over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
