Championship: Maja hits scoring sheet, Ndidi dazzles for Leicester City
Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, bagged his fourth assist in 15 Championship appearances as last-gasp Leicester City take nicked all three Skybet Championship points at Semi Ajayi and Josh Maja’s West Brom on Saturday afternoon at the Hawthorns.
It was the Nigerian’s fifth in 18 games across all competitions so far this term and the most he has provided in a single season since he joined the Foxes from Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk in January 2017.

The most assists Ndidi has bagged prior to this season was the four he provided in the 2017/18 and 2020/21 seasons in the Premier League.
Overall, Ndidi has bagged 17 assists in 255 games across all competitions for the Foxes. He has also scored thrice this term to bring his overall total to 14 in his over seven seasons at the King Power stadium.
