Chelsea, Newcastle Ready To Take Risk In Real Madrid Flop

Eden Hazard has not performed up to par, and it appears that his exit from Camp Nou is imminent.

Despite his struggling efforts, the good news for the 30-year-old midfielder is that interest in his services remains high.

Chelsea and Newcastle United lead the list of several clubs keeping tabs with the Belgian attacker, James Olley of ESPN reported.

Although the level of interest was not mentioned, the important thing to note here is that Hazard will have options by January.

Despite his proven track record, Hazard has struggled to fit into the system of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Hazard was left on the bench in last week’s El Classico win over Barcelona, just one of several frustrations that he has had to deal with since coming over from Chelesea in 2019.

In the eyes of critics, Hazard is just someone who may flourish under a different coach.

Although he has drawn praise for his efforts, it remains that Hazard is hardly given the chance to fully show what he can do on the field.

With Los Blancos, Hazard has only started in 25 games in La Liga. He has only five goals to show in 52 appearances in total across all competitions.

The injuries Hazard went through did not help as well. He struggled to work his way back to shape before arriving in Spain.
